KCLoftCentral – Condos For Sale NOW!

Why wait three years? KCLoftCentral has condos for sale right now.  Check out this recent article in the Kansas City Business Journal: https://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/news/2018/01/17/cordish-three-light-condos-for-sale.html   It announces how Cordish, owner of the Power and Light District, is considering including some condominiums in it’s newest apartment project, Three Light, which is schduled to open in 2021.

-Nick Benjamin, Cordish’s executive director for the district, said a decision had not yet been made but confirmed that the company has considered selling as many as 10 percent of the $130 million Three Light project’s 300 units as condos.

“We’re obviously in a good place in terms of overall demand and interest in living Downtown,” Benjamin told the Kansas City Business Journal. “The preponderance of the demand remains for rental apartment living. But we do hear from a number of people who have said they’re interested in owning condos Downtown. And there’s going to be a point in the evolution of the market Downtown where condos, at some scale, make some sense.”

Benjamin said a Kansas City Council committee is expected to consider the development plan and incentives for Three Light on Jan. 24. If the project proceeds as expected, he said, construction would be started at the northeast corner of Main Street and Truman Road late this year and completed by early 2021.

Rents at Three Light, similar to those in One Light and Two Light, will be top of the market at $2.25 to $2.30 a square foot, Benjamin said.–
